PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Vic Brown is a
commercial real estate specialist and one of the
founding partners with Orion Partners Ltd., having
been licensed and continuously active in the San
Francisco Bay Area since 1975. Prior to joining
Orion Partners, Mr. Brown was associated with the
Marin County office of Grubb & Ellis Company where
his abilities in the marketing of prime investment
properties, higher profile land development
opportunities and leasing of newr, quality projects.
Some of the
projects Mr. Brown has exclusively and successfully
engaged in leasing include Belvedere Place, a
100,000 square foot Class A office project in Mill
Valley; San Rafael Bay Park, a mixed use
office/industrial complex compromising 125,000
square feet in San Rafael; Digital Plaza, a 56,000
square foot office/industrial building in Novato;
The American Building, a 34,000 square foot Class A
project in Terra LInda, as well as representing
numerous other projects and owners. One notable
transaction is the lease with Qutodesk, Inc. for
their built-to-suit headquarters building of 115,000
square feet behing the Embassy Suites in San Rafael.
In addition, some
of the more recognizable sales Mr. Brown has
completed include the Bel Center in Novato, a 34,200
square foot Class A office building, Victoria
Station, a restaurant property in Larkspur, the
Scripture Oldsmobile property in San Rafael, a West
American Bank occupied office building in Novato,
950 Northgate Drive, a 28,000 square foot office
building in San Rafael, the Supercuts Headquarters
building in San Rafael, San Rafael Business Center,
a 72,000 square foot office/R&D project occupied by
LucasFilm, Ltd., a 10,000 square foot owner-user
office building in Novato, a 7,000 square foot
owner-user office building in Novato, as well as
having brought the Embassy Suites Hotle to San
Rafael, next to the Civic Center Auditorium. In
August 2001, Mr. Brown completed the $10 Million
sale of a real estate portfolio compromised of four
dominant downtown San Rafael buildings, then went on
the resell three of the building subsequent buyers
in a simultaneous close of escrow. In Septmeber
2004, Mr. Brown represented both seller and buyer
for the $9 Million sale of the Geister Industrial
Properties in San Rafael totally 65,000 square feet
in buildings. |
